Hi, I'm Dami

Welcome to my blog! :)

My name is Dami Salami (if I had a penny for every time someone asked me "is that your real name!?" after I share my Instagram, I wouldn't need to be an RA lol); it's short for "Oluwadamilola" which means "God has decorated me with wealth" in Yoruba. I'm from Nigeria and I live in its infamous cultural capital, Lagos (repping with my top here!).

I am a 4th year student at UCLA studying International Development, and triple minoring in Education, Professional Writing and Figuring This Life Thing Out. I love reading & writing fiction, traveling, and learning more about the world particularly through people-watching.

This blog will be a space where I share some of my thoughts, observations, and reflections of life, so whether you like to zone out into your thoughts or you're just plain delulu, welcome to the den! This is a space for all the dreamers.
